Did you know Magnesium is the only mineral absorbed in the rumen...!

Writer's picture: Molly KuchelMolly Kuchel

New grass can be high protein, high potassium, low magnesium & low fibre and is often referred to as 'rocket fuel grass' due to the fast passage rate in the rumen, offering little time for macro mineral absorption through the rumen wall.

Providing balanced levels of sodium and magnesium, with the addition of calcium and phosphorus, are valuable requirements when on lush feed.

Particularly critical now as our livestock are grazing fresh green grass 🐂🐑🐄
